Dear Enthusiast,

33rd ANNUAL DEVON COASTAL RUN

SUNDAY 17TH JULY 2011

Once again the Historic Transport Club cordially invites you to the Annual Devon Coastal Run on Sunday 17th July which will start from the Exeter Racecourse just off the A38, at the top of Haldon Hill - just follow the brown signs, from 8.0 a.m. (last vehicle away 10.0 a.m.). The route is approximately 70 miles of South Devon sceanery, coastal views and river estuaries, with stops on Teignmouth sea front and at Buckfastleigh station (South Devon Steam Railway). The finishing venue is Bovey Tracey, a delightful country town on the edge of Dartmoor Narional Park.

The entry fee is £9.00 Owners of all types of preserved vehicles built prior to 31st December 1970 are eligible to attend. (A limited number of places are also available for cars built between 1971 & 1985).

All commercial vehicles over 20 years old are welcome to enter.

There are plaques for finishers.

There is ample hot el and B&B accommodation available in Bovey Tracey. There is also free over night camping and parking available in the rally field. (Please note that there is no fresh water on the rally field).

Please complete the entry form for the Coastal Run and return it to the Entries Secretary, Annette Bye, 27 Higher Warborough Road, Galmpton, Brixham, TQ5 0PF together with your entry fee. Closing date 17th June 2011. Please note that for this year, entries received after this date may not be accepted, last year`s run was oversuscribed. Please complete the entry form and return it to the entries secretary together with a C5 (9 inch x 6 3/8 inch) envelope stamped and addressed (for the return of your entry passes and rally information) and your cheque for £9.00 payable to Historic Transport Club.
